CaseCracker
Privacy Policy
CaseCracker ("the app", "we", "us") is a daily murder-mystery game published by Loopwit. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using the app you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Guest play: by default you play as a guest. We generate a random anonymous identifier stored on your device to save your progress, streak, and stats. No personal details are required.
- Email (optional): if you choose to create a synced account, we collect your email address to sign you in via a one-time code (OTP). We do not store a password.
- Gameplay data: cases solved, accuracy, streaks, rank, and accusation outcomes, so we can show your dossier and sync progress.
- Advertising & device data: our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect a device advertising identifier and related data to serve rewarded ads. See Google's policies below.
How we use it
- To run the game, save progress, and sync it across sessions/devices when signed in.
- To show rewarded ads (used only to optionally unlock a case's full solution after a failed case).
- To maintain security and prevent abuse (e.g. replay-protected scoring).
Service providers
- Supabase — authentication, database, and storage hosting.
- Google AdMob — rewarded advertising. Google's use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy; you can manage ad personalization in your device settings.
- ElevenLabs — pre-generated character voice audio (no personal data is sent).
Data retention & deletion
We keep account data while your account exists. You can delete your account and associated data at any time — see our Data Deletion page.
Children
CaseCracker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
